Magaluf overlooks the bay of Palma and lies about 16 miles from the airport.
Although a lot of work has been done to improve the centre and the resorts image, it still remains a favourite with the young, free and single due to the enormous amount of bars and discos at night.
The biggest concentration of hotel and apartment blocks on the island, provide plenty of tourists for the many shops at the resort centre, while there is also a market at Calvia on a Monday.
Water sports, go-karting, and a waterpark are all on offer for your daytime entertainment, with tennis and a golf course close by.
The largest beach on the southern side of the island can still become crowded during the high season, and with the latest attraction, a glass sided submarine, there's never a dull moment here.
noone complains if you come to late, noone disturbs you early in the morning, romantic and calm enough to spend a nice time with your girl, not so boring that you would want to run away from it. Had a room with balcony above the pool and enjoyed ...
it's all quite basic, but clean and that was most important 4 me. the only trouble - it's quite far to go from clubs especially when you're drunk :) ...
