Everyone sits around a table or in a circle. Let's use an example of 10 people.
You start by saying any number from 1-9. You can't say 10 because it comes back to you. So let's say you say 2. The second person clockwise from you has to say a number. He says 6. The sixth person clockwise from him has to say a number. And so it goes on.
Here is the fun part. You can use negatives. Let's say I say 4. The forth person clockwise from me say's -4 and it now reverses back to me.
When you really get good you can play this game very fast and with your eyes closed. When someone messes up they drink.
You need some matches or cocktail sticks for this game. It works well for anyone over 5 years old, and can be a kids party game or a drinking game.
The matches should be burnt first if you are playing with children so they don't run any risks.
Tip the matches onto a table. Players take it in turns to pick up between 1 and 10 matches until all the matches are gone. The player who picks up the last match is the loser!
EG stands for 'empty glass'. It?s a drinking game for pubs and bars.
As the night progresses people will start finishing their drinks. Every time you finish your drink you have to touch your glass on somebody before placing it on the table. If you forget and put your 'empty glass' on the table you will hear everyone watching and waiting scream "EG!!!" and you will have to go to the bar and buy a fresh pint or whatever drink you are drinking and down it in one!! A real killer.
Some people make the mistake of placing their glass that they just downed in one straight back onto the table without touching it on somebody, this results in another visit to the bar and another pint in one... cruel I know!
Note: A good trick for this one is, when you finish your drink you can pass the EG. onto somebody else. You can give them your EG and say "hold that while I go to the toilet" and if they make the mistake of putting it on the table they have to down a pint in one!
A simple drinking game that always goes down well. Literally.
Prepare a shot glass for everyone in the group, all filled with water, except one that you fill with vodka. Now hand out the shots and ask everyone to down in one. One person will have an interesting surprise as they hit the vodka. They step out of the next round.
Repeat the process until you have a single winner.
This game is good to play in bars but can get expensive for the person who loses! Also, as it involves everyone drinking spirits, it often doesn't last very long! Alternatively, rather than everyone drinking on every round, you can change it so that just the loser drinks.
Everyone needs 3 coins (any coins). You all put your hands behind your backs and select 0,1, 2 or 3 coins in your right hand. Keeping your left hand behind your back, present the right hand, without revealing its contents. The aim of the game is to guess how many coins are in the middle. This will depend on how many people there are. For example if there are 4 people there could be a maximum of 12 coins and a minimum of 0.
The leader starts by estimating how many coins are hidden in total in all the hands presented. So if there are 4 players the total could be anywhere between 0 and 12. The leader calls out a number and play moves round to the right, each player calling out in turn. No number may be repeated.
Once everyone has selected a different number, the hands are revealed. The person who correctly guessed the total (if anyone did) drops out. Play resumes, with the person to the left leading, until the ultimate loser is the last man in. It gets quite challenging when there are just two of you left and you're trying to bluff your opponent.
The loser has to buy a round of shots for everyone.
...and one other rule...the shots have to be different on every round!
